The Whole Enchilada Fiesta now in 28th year

It's Las Cruces' biggest hometown party, full of music, spicy chile treats, family fun that ranges from a parade to games and carnival rides ... and, of course, the world's largest enchilada.

I was there the first time they had the whole enchilada! whoa! Back then none of the streets were paved in the downtown area. Same with the parking lots! I was 10 years old. I still remember the kiddie rides. Ahhhhhh, it's nice to remember the old days.

People go this event from all over the southwest.Sure would be nice if one year the city of L.C. placed a map on their site that takes you from I-25 or I-10 to the event ! The web site only shows the fair grounds !
