that time has passed. couple of years ago when you were screaming like crazy about immigration.

now, pay your own debts, deadbeats. of course you could advertise in medellin. they have some investors who would fit perfectly in orlando.

Last time I checked, if someone had 1,000,000 to invest, I am sure a green card is not one of their primary concerns.

This is an extremely one sided offer. You are expecting foreign nationals to hand over to US one million dollars to obtain their Green Card, but on top of that they are expected to create 10 jobs in certain industries and there are more conditions within a 2 year period including knowing every detail of how this person's money was obtained. If that wasn't enough US have a right to then revoke the Green Card.

I can see why people are queuing up to get into this scheme - not

With the economy worlwide as it is at present, anyone accepting this scheme and strict conditions that go with it would be abnormal and need a brain transplant.

It is so incredibly easy to enter the U.S. and lay low forever and hide under the radar that for anyone to pay a million dollars, the thought is ridiculous. Fake SS, Green cards, drivers licenses, and everything else are so easy to come by that a new arrival can basically be set up in a few days, dealing with the suppliers of same out of his car window in most American cities.

It is so one sided now that employers are even being criticized for trying to check the fake SS cards against the National database for validity in court. It means that the crooks have embedded themselves in our Judiciary and in our Government now and can blunt efforts to obtain any control from within. We are done. The wooden horse was wheeled into the castle long ago.

They didnt want this at $2 to the pound, they certainly don't want it at $1.37 to the pound. No one in the there right mind is going to invest $1M in LBV condo's when they can turn $1M into $2M overnight with Foreclosures.

What a stupid plan to sell out America to the highest bidders. I glad it's been a flop. It should not exist anywhere.

A green card for $1M.

How much is a "get out of jail free" card? You could probably find more people interested in this one...

I believe the most popular floor plan, was the Blagojevich Suite. This same type of thing is going on in Dubai; buy a a piece of property-get citizenship.

Criticized? Hell the AFL-CIO actively campaigns against making the practice of checking SS cards and citizenship.

"There seems to be less interest of people immigrating to the United States,"

No wonder... and the USA will be less, and less atractive!

People with millions of dollars lying around usually don't hop fences at the border or risk going to jail by getting fake documents from car windows in back alleys.

Investment visas have been in existence forever. THis condo-hotel scheme doesn't seem like it would fit the actual legal requirements regarding majority ownership, which is probably the real reason why no one is taking the bait.

As far as people complaining about others "buying their way in", isn't that better than remaining illegal and draining services?? Job creation is a good thing, ok!

Citizenship for sale. Now isn't that a hoot.

It is not bad enought that the US is in debt to Communist China for trillion's of dollars; simply but -- they own us. Now we will let any foreigner with enough money buy citizenship; great, now they can own can own us, too.

Looks like the US is a slave to the world. First we police the world by having our troups everywhere. Then we borrow money to finance the world's security. And now, we sell what is supposed to be our most precious pride -- Citizenship in the United States, which is the absolute soul of Americanism. Perhaps being a US citizenship is not a matter of pride as I thought it was--at least not anymore--what a shame.

I wonder what our founding fathers would say if they could see the US today, enslaved not to a king or queen, but to other nations, all while prostituting citizenship.

Getting paid for something isn't really how slavery works.

What an idiot you are....wouldnt you rather have people who invest in the US and run businesses that employ people rather than the swim ashore brigade who just go on welfare and take? You really are out of touch.
