Haven't Sea World, Disney and Universal been constantly raising their ticket prices to unaffordable levels, even as recently as a few months ago? And now they are desperately looking for tourists? They should have kept their ticket prices more affodable from the beginning to attract larger crowds...

We used to take about 8 small trips a year to disney. Now we cannot afford to go much at all.

Disney has priced us out.

We just cannot afford it.

First they raised their ticket prices to keep pace with Disney(greed) as well as recently closing their hospitality area. Sea World has lost me as a customer. At least I can buy discount Universal passes at Costco.

They're not safe. I don't want to bring my kids to a place that encourages their employees to pack guns to work & they do. Not in this day & age when people are losing jobs and homes.

On top of all this, Disney is about to raise it's food prices(bottled water among one of them) when more and more guests are bringing their own into the parks. that makes perfect sense doesn't it?

Maybe it's to make up for no more free beer...

Not sure why I'd need a hotel room when I live 30 miles from the parks.

How about a "local" discount???

The best deal around is the Universal 2 park, plus all Mardi Gras concerts for $99 per person. It includes admission into all their Mardi Gras concerts and admission into both Parks until Dec 19, 2009.

Some great bands from all types of genre, Bare Naked Ladies, KC and the Sunshine Band, Kelly Clarkson, and more.

Great for Florida residents living in the Orlando area. A win-win....all the concerts plus admission into BOTH parks for the year.

And I live less than 6 miles away and work across the street.
The super bowl ads were cute, but bring back the beer garden.

They will all be lowering their prices, before long. The depression has just begun.Maybe Obama will give everyone a free theme park ticket.

The last time I took my granddaughters to Disney, we paid 13.00 for 3 bottled waters with the Mickey Mouse toppers. What a rip!

And I believe, Disney recently raised their 1 day-1 park tickets without announcing it. I believe it went from 72+/- to 75+/-. Rip off....they are making billions and aren't putting anything new or substantial in their parks except more merchandise carts. They've shelved several E-ticket attractions for the next two years. Poor value, in my opinion.

SeaWorld is hurting for business and they get rid of the most popular attraction, the hospitality tent.....brilliant. That made it worth $75 for a crappy park which you could not spend the whole day at if you tried.

Lynn, do they actually ENCOURAGE their employees to bring guns, or do they just ALLOW them to? Big difference.
