Outside of the broken ankle and the water slide incident, why are they considered 'injuries'?

Anxiety attacks from fast rides and enclosed spaces it seems.

Wow... thanks for helping kill Orlando and your own business Sentinel. Two Orlando headlines that are sure to get picked up: Unconfirmed swine flu at Disney, and Disney injures guests.

My home subscription is up for renewal... I'm now leaning towards canceling after over a decade.

The only reason I still subscribe to the Sentinel a few days a week is to line the bottom of my bird cages and for the Sunday coupons. I can't remember the last time I actually read the paper, and this article shows part of the reason why. People "injured" on rides that move slower than I can walk, way to sensationalize the story. Even on Space Mountain, I can ride a bike faster than the roller coaster moves.

Three months, millions of visitors, 6 injuries.
I'll take those odds any day.
Once again, science, math and reality trump all the morons, haters and retards out there.

Aside from the C-spine injury and fractured ankle, all of the people could of had the complaints at any time. The people are older and there is the 33% of Americans are over wieght. Vascular disease? The chief complaints were Chest pain and neurological complaints. What were composition of the folks who complained?. Oh lets not forge the Mc Donald's inside the park continuing to fatten up the masses.

OK...so out of Tens of MILLIONS of guests, less than 10 got hurt (and most look like self inflicted stupidity, ie 75 year old man on a roller coaster?? WTF). So what are the stats for injuries due to bar fights in downtown Orlando? A check with OFD station 1 and 2 will give that answer. I would guess the likelyhood of injury is somewhere in the realm of thousands of times more likely to be hurt in a downtown Orlando club then on theme park property.

Except for Space Mountain, these are such slow rides that they should have made no contribution to these people's health problems at all.

Why on earth would a 75 year old woman ride on Space Mountain? Stupidity is still the reason there are injuries. Young or old should the brain God gave them and NOT ride these attractions. Then they try to sue the attractions. And who pays for that? We all do!!!!!

All of these injuries are pathetic if you ask me, with the exception of the ankle injury. I guess none of these guests could read the warning signs posted prior to getting on the rides? Where is the common sense?

Oh Mountainman ---- Hershey squirts do count, apparently if you are at Disney. Ha ha ha!!!!

I agree. I also question whether some of these 'so-called' injuries were a means to cash in.

The only danger in riding the Snow White ride is falling asleep. OMG that ride works better than Ambien! I guess someone could be bored to death.

Disney has cut back on people to work croud control. And I'm sure there are many times that disney is over the capacity the park can hold.

Only if I can. I was injured too. I went into the first aide station at Animal Kingdom. Asked the DR. if they had anything for a broken heart. Told her that it was our last day there. She gave me a bandaid.(I really did do this). The DR.made a face and I died laughing..........ummm I cannot be telling you this, I'm dead. My family should sue!
