Whatever happened to children learning the 3 Rís in school? Even though these imagination exercises are important in a childís overall development, the fact remains that school should be a place to learn the basics needed to function in todayís world. Imagination is for play time which should be reserved for recess or free time, not precious school time.
Iím sure that the teachers and their unions are all in favor of this misappropriation of school time. Letís get real, all we are doing is wasting the opportunity to get caught up in the world as far as academics are concerned. If kids canít read, write or perform basic math functions the world will really be in trouble no matter how much recycling we do!!
Activities such as this should be reserved for weekends or after school. The school administrators should be ashamed for going along with this nonsense.
Welcome to the world of the ObamaNation!!
