After seeing Daniel Day Lewis's picture plastered all over the latest magazines there doesn't seem to be much of an element of surprise on who is going to winI I didn't see Viggos picture anywhere. Every year its some brit or Irishman winning the Oscar, I'm all for Viggo this year but he is a long shot I guess. His body of work is excellent and he turns in a spectacular job no matter what he is in. How about someone who hasn't won an Oscar already for a change and an American would be refreshing. If Daniel Day Lewis wins I will know this is a done deal before the voting is even in and it will be no more Oscars for me. D D Lewis was good in his film but Viggos performance beats them all this time.
