BPPV followed by neck muscle inflammation

Just wanted to share my experience, just in case someone could benefit from it.
Suffered 2 violent BPPV attacks for the first time about 6 months ago.
It took me a few weeks to get over each, and after a while my feelings stabilized to a constant discomfort which I took for a vertiginous feeling I would have to live with forever ( slightly dizzy, nauseous, tired, a tenderness in the area of the hearing nerve, on the neck).
I kept going to doctors, hoping for some relief.
Thank god it occurred to my doctor to think I might have a simple inflammation of my neck muscles (that support the head).
He gave me a month and a half course of "Arcoxia" (Anti-inflammatory), and I was cured.
I assume I was so freaked out about having another attack of vertigo, I completely changed my posture, even when sleeping, and cramped and irritated myself into an inflammation.
That doctor saved me from a life of assuming the Vertigo never goes away.
I still live in fear of an attack, but it is fear, not physical suffering.
I wish you all well. Be strong.
