How to cut cost corners when in pricey London
#1 Jan 29, 2008
Oyster card - It is 1/2 pound less than the Travel Card. The oyster card automatically caps off at the maximum value for the day no matter how many times you ride beyond that value. Get one at Heathrow before you enter the Tube, which is the cheapest way into London.
Another benefit of the Oyster Card is the many discounts that are offered when using it. There are 2 for 1 West End play Tickets, 2 for 1 admissions, dinner discounts, and many more. Theses offerings can be found at http://www.tfl.gov.uk/microsites/oysteroffers... .
