Kudos to The Smoking Gun. It is funny (sad, actually) that the new informal media of blogs, gossip websites, and tabloid TV are more factually acurate than the traditional print media outlets. For now on, I'll only read TMZ, The Smoking Gun, Perez Hilton, and of course Bob Norman's blog on the Broward-Palm Beach New Times. HA HA HA HA.

Drive-by media. No fact checking involved, no need to verify whether the documents were fabricated (NBC with Bush's military reserve). Luckily there were no ruputations or careers ruined as a result of this stupidity.

Typical liberal media. Too interested in shocking the public with their coveted "We got the story FIRST!" bragging rights. Better to get the story right...but that would actually require journalism. The media lies every day and pushes their lefty agenda both in what they report and (more importantly) what they refuse to report.

Just curious, will the Sun-Sentinel be apologizing for lifting this story from the LA Times last week? It seems like they are reporting a bad news story that they hopped on like white on rice, and now they're distancing themselves from it.

Maybe they should issue an apology and get out their checkbook, too.

By the time Sean Combs gets done with the Times he'll be on the masthead. This is going to cost them a bundle.

The times was irresponsible in the article and could have touched off another situation between east and west coast because of statements that were false. I believed the articles at first glance and probably alot of people did the same, please next time get all the facts before you start such a ugly rumor that could have caused more people to lose theis lives.
