Wow People who know nothing about religion acting as authorities... awesome. Only the first five books which are known collectively as the Pentateuch are part of the Torah (Books of Moses). The rest of the books in the Old Testament still relate to Judiasm, but they are also part of the Christian Canon. Why do you think that they are still in sources such as The King James Bible?

What a peaceful religion. I challenge this wholeheartedly.
The Christian God I worship is a loving, forgiving God,not one that would take vengance on his neighbors.
Don't tell me the muslims are peaceful. I will never believe you.

The Old Testaement is in the Catholic version too. Plus some extra books that are known as Apocryha. And yes, nastyNate...do you have some witty commentary?

South Park used to have it's moments of humor, but now they just try to offend in order to offend - that is the whole show in a nutshell. It is now a rather immature show that has run out of anything useful to say.

Also, I stopped watching when they started blaspheming Jesus Christ. That is an evil I will not allow in my home.

Yeah, I did, but the filter won't let me post "M*nkey Phonics"--it was the title of a SP episode.

The show is hilarious because it shows the ridiculous attitudes of all religions. It basically shows that the extreme views of all religions are wrong, and every religion thinks they have it right. I personally like the show and its humor BECAUSE of the poking fun at different religions. It's funny that over half the people in the world run around all high and mighty because they think their religion is right. What if you grew up in another household under another religion? Your beliefs would be completely different, yet you would still think you are right.

I think it makes Comedy Central look even worse that they allowed Buddha snorting coke and Jesus watching porn, but balked when (Censored) was mentioned. Comedy Central are some scared hypocrites, and this just showed it. If Parker and Stone are willing to risk their lives for their art, let them! Never bow to terror, it only makes the terrorists stronger!

If somebody were to submerge Mohammed upside down in urine and call it "Piss Mohammed" would the National Endowment of the Arts be so eager to sponsor it? They can put submerge Christ upside down in piss or make a "Madonna and Child" out of elephant dung surrounded by female genitalia and not only is nobody threatened, but our tax dollars go toward paying for it through the NEA. All the while the Elders of Zion sit there cackling at their handiwork. You know what? Screw Mohammed. And screw Comedy Central (jew central) for their cowardice and their selective sensitivities! They feature filthy miscreants like Larry David urinating on the portrait of Christ or Sarah Silverman spouting that she'd crucify him again and call that funny. They can afford to attack christians because they know that is a religion of peace.

As a general statement, I think it is dicey to say that Christians are more peaceful than adherants to Islam. There are still plenty of intolerant Christians. I do think they are more tolerant of differnt lifestyles. I will also say that fundamentalists in the Christian religion do not embrace violence to the same degree as do Muslim extremists. That's not even a debate. Anyone with eyesight can see that. The IRA is one very notable exception however.
