Sure, why not. Drive everything else including business out of this country. Real intelligent, well thought out response.

Calm down Dinah. Andet is right.

Producers cook the books to say they made nothing while also using movie funds for personal entertainment expenses and more. The producers knew that getting Jones on a movie would help them make money & a good movie - but they don't want to pay for it. Frankly, they do this to writers & lower level people too by promising points on profit then saying the movie made nothing when it truely made millions. Someone with balls has to call them on it. Jones is just lucky that "No Country" was such an obvious hit that they can't brush him off like they have so many stars of his caliber. Don't get me wrong, some actors can be greedy but truly producers take the cake.

Dinah, for someone who seems to like to tell people they aren't thinking things through - you should really check your own thinking on this. How exactly would Jone's suit drive movies out of the US? Are you talking about where the movie is filmed? Certainly, that is a separate issue entirely. An American market movie made in Canada or China still uses American stars, writers, etc. No one has ever cared what nation movies where filmed in as long as the actors are famous & it was a good enough story. Millions will always go to top name actors. The other millions you are concerned with are linked to the location. Loosing productions to other countries that could be filmed in the US is a whole different topic.

Dinah. Lighten up. Its a frickin message board.

Maybe Tommy Lee ought to sue his agent and his lawyer for failure to correct the "known errors" before he signed the contract. It sounds to me like maybe Tommy was hurting for work and signed on for less money than his ego or his lawyer has come to convince him that he's worth. I wonder if the film had lost money whether Tommy would be giving some kind of refund to the producers.
I'm no fan of the studios and I like a lot of Tommy's work but I have to ask myself if he's being manipulated by his lawyers who are going to get paid no matter how the case turns out. Bad deal all around.

You didn't, now you're gonna get screwed. By your studio or by your lawyers. Both if your lawyers lose.

Next time, be more careful.

Tommy has always carried himself as an as@hole and from looks of it it's true. The other thing is he's so annoying and overrated as an actor. So annoying he makes nick nolte seem normal.

No tickee, no washee Tommy! You better have a paper contract on hand regarding the $10M owed claim, or you'll only be holding your Johnson for solace. The courts are no country for old men without recourse.
