So many years, so much bad music. Little mystery why 20th Century Fox got this dead weight off its payroll. Lucky for him, he had a captive audience back at the start of TV.

Martin Luther King was killed at age 39. This guy lived long enough to create and whistle the Andy Griffith Show theme?

Life really IS unfair.
