Poor Tom Selleck thinks he can still be Magnum, at age 64. Nobody else seems to think so, he admits, because the producers of a planned big-screen Magnum P.I. movie "haven't called, they haven't written.

Did anyone watch his most recent tele-movie? He can still play Magnum. Please get this done so John Hillerman can still play Higgins.

Tom Selleck can certainly do whatever he pleases. What makes people think that just because you get older you can't have what it takes to be beleivable in a role. Magnum PI only belongs to Tom. The world is not only for the young

No one else thinks Selleck can play Magnum? There's this little thing called the internet. You should check it out some time stupid. Selleck has lead all the poles, and there are countless petitions on the subject. No one but Selleck could ever possibly play Magnum. This author is stupid.

I never said anything against him. If you read my comments with your glasses on, I have said that Tom Selleck is the only person to play the Magnum role. And anyway , check ya spelling poles is actually spelt polls, in this context. And you have the nerve to call me stupid.

Its funny, I came across this and here you are bashing Mike because he was talking about the person who wrote the article and you thought he was writing about your comments right? I don't know I might get something wrong here with spelling or something else (My apology) but did you spell believable wrong in your first comment and even if you were the person who corrected it in the follow-up....I mean come on everyone makes a few mistakes typing, even intelligent people like myself...Just kidding....Seems everyone would prefer Tom Selleck in the movie. So were you implying that Mike was stupid because he never mentioned your name like your post (your copy...did) and he was actually refering to the artcle.....which has a author....Yes you are one too but in a smaller context. If anything you should of thought about the situation and apologized. You were like a barking dog, barking at a picture on the wall. Good day.

Magnum, p.i. as far as I'm concerned is and will always be the best loved
TV show. The reason for which is Tom Selleck. I love this actor. Did anyone
else look forward to An Innocent Man? I sure did. Why he hasn't enjoyed
a more fruitful A-list movie career remains a mystery. If the producers
of this 2010 film were smart they would put Selleck where he belongs,
on the big screen, in his signature role. With his classy voiceovers
included, following the original shows dynamics. Any Magnum, P.I.
fans out there would come in droves. The movie could easily make 200
million if done right. I have seen every episode thru several syndication
runs. It was only done right on CBS after show was cancelled. It would
be on at 1:00 am. That was such a nice send off. I stayed up every night
to watch it. I will run to theaters if Tom Selleck is in title role. The producers will run to bank. I think I have made my point.
