I found this article enlightening. I'm not sure I could eat all of the food suggested for one day.

How about, just go on Weight Watchers? I lost 15 lbs in 3 weeks, I worked out 3 times a week, drank recommended amounts of water, and ate right. You dont really need a freaking scientific breakdown. If you are disciplined enough, and are a normal patient human being, just do it. I'm a male btw - went from 230 to 215

Don't eat the recomended "before workout meal" to close to workout time. I was burping up and farting that lean chicken sandwich all over the gym.

Its not about losing weight, NOBODY CARES WHAT YOU WEIGH!!! People care how much space you take up and your body composition. You can put on ten pounds and lose inches in the waist. Don't try to lose weight because we subconsciously want to get back the things we lose. You want to try to trade in weight, Trade fat for muscle. Muscle helps in the fat burning process, and to keep your muscle you must have a healthy and well balanced diet high in protein to complement your workout. Good article.
