Chris Daughtry? Really? Can the players wear dresses while they play the game?

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers is one of the best Rock and Roll groups ever. Halftime shows during the Superbowl have been fun to watch ever since McCartney, the and the Stones. Glad to see the MTV crap go away and get back to some classic rock and roll acts.

Who the he** are they? If you don't like the haltime act, then don't watch it. I did not watch Prince when he was the halftime feature nor Janet and Justin a few years back.

Who the hell are they? Do you live in a cave or something? Since the Janet and Justin fiasco there hasn't been a decent halftime show. The most nauseating was Paul McCartney. OMG I hate the Beetles. It is time to get rid of the person responsible for picking these old people and have someone more entertaining.

Since the audience is so diverse, I'm hoping that one day they'll split it up with acts that appeal to younger AND older audiences, with different types of music -- the same person for 20-30 minutes gets old, regardless of who it is.

They need to stay with acts that ARE tried and true and actually have some talent. Young people are not normally the demographic and age group that sponsors want to target so it's always better to feature a musical group that has a more diverse appeal. I guarantee you that if Jimmy Buffet was the half time entertainment, all age groups would be satisfied. I'm not a Parrot Head nor a huge Buffet fan but I know an act like his would be popular with a lot of people. If you don't like like the half time show one year, then just don't watch it. Simple as that.

No, I don't live on a cave but you must since you did not even know how to spell "The Beatles" correctly. Calm down, it's just music and entertainment during a football game.
