Philippine soldier killed in clash with Abu Sayyaf
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine military says one soldier was killed and three wounded following an army attack on a militant bomb-making camp in a southern island province.

so what's so unusual about a news item like this? A soldier gets killed! Is that news ? Soldiers are expendable, until such time as he is killed under heroic circumstances. The Abu Sayap is a killer group whose main enemy are soldiers. What I wish t make plain is the habit of many in media who loves to see death in every chance they get, which is bad ./ IT IS NOT NEWS, PERIOD. jUST PLAIN WASTE OF PAPER AND TIME.
