ACORN=pot calling kettle black.
ACORN=thieves

Obama denied, on his own website during the election, that he had never been a trainer/organizer for ACORN.
His campaign team even attempted to have news articles touting his record as a trainer/organizer for ACORN, but the 13 yr old cache miners found it on the internet and exposed his lies.
You have to ask yourself why Obama would lie about something so seemingly innocent as having been an ACORN trainer/organizer.
The same reason he denied having a close personal relationship to Bill Ayers/radical/bomber/murder.

Because ACORN was founded by two 1970s radicals who trained their trainers/organizers to trainer others according to the same principles that Obama used in his campaign,,,Saul Alinsky's (a NeoMarxist) "Rules for Radicals" and Cloward-Pivens Strategy.(Google both)

Rudolph Guiliani discovered that the same Socialists were using the same techniques to try to overburden the New York social programs/economy in order to crash it and introduce Socialism.
Sound familiar?
Wake up people!

Company's like these are giving a bad rep to the entire industry! Non profits have inexperienced personnel and are understaffed. Banks don't tell you their guidelines, can take 6 months, and many only allow a homeowner one shot to get it right, almost guaranteeing the homeowner will lose their home.

Client funds must be protected but the mod agency needs to be paid for their service too. Once the mod is completed, many times the homeowners don't pay because the papers go directly from the bank to the homeowner. And lets face it, these people have financial problems so hoping to get paid after the mod is completed is not realistic. When the homeowner signs the modification papers before he has paid the agency, the agency is usually out of their fee.

The only way fix this is to process the modification by an attorney who knows what he's doing, and place the funds in an attorney escrow account until the mod is completed. If the mod is not completed, the homeowner gets his money back. However, some attorney's charge a retainer fee which is non refundable according to law. You can't get something for nothing. There are crooks on both sides of the fence.....Some are Mod Agency's and some are homeowner too....

If I can't help the homeowner who is in obvious distress, he get's every dime of his money back. My job is to know the bank’s guidelines and back up my efforts with experience and a guaranteed refund if I can’t help. That's the right thing to do, period!

Lets face it....They go after Amerimod because they have the most deals. It gets the best press. Now i dont know if theyre doing the work or not, but if people are complaining, then they may not be doing as promised. This business of not charging until after the mod is done....is stupid!! It gives the borrower a way to avoid paying the mod company. The client will say " My rate only went down 3%, i was promised 4" and refuse to pay. If that really was the case 85% of all clients wouldnt pay. They want people to use govt agencies...whata joke. The govt being involved with mods will screw things up much more. Ive been doing mods for a while...zero complaint! If any one complains....justifiably....Th ey get a refund...period. No company is charging after the fact, as these people we are helping refuse to pay their mtge, why would they pay my fees? I utilize attorneys, accts, secretaries...and i should nt get paid> Find me a contractor that doesnt want a deposit...how about an oral surgeon that will say "pay me when i complete the work' How about an orthodontist putting braces on your childs teeth....does he/she get paid when works completed??? An atty doesnt ask for a retainer...how about Ill pay you after i win my trial...Wake up! Monitor the Loan mod business, throw out the bad people as there are bad in every occupation.... You want to help people modify their loans...then take it out of the govts hands!!

I had an awesome experience with Amerimod and they did get my payments lowered for me. I have never had a problem recieving a call back and actually had my Loan mod rep contacting me regularly without me prompting it. I have detailed my full story in a letter of gratitude to Amerimod and even recieved a thank you call from President Sal Pane jr and I believe he is unfairly being targeted. Some companies refuse to do mods as HSBC did with me and companies like Amerimod are necessary to be an advocate and they were successful in my case.

So what sort of work can a person do for Acorn anyway? I'm thinking of a career change. Do they pay well?

They are a bad company. I used to work there and I had seen what was going on on a daily basis. They werent taking half the client calls. The VP was taking money from clients and pocketing it with out submitting the files. Those people lost there homes. I said to him i thought we are here to help the comsumer but really he is a 26 yr old that played around all day while the modifyers were working to get the clients. I even heard from the processors the have a lamp there to forge signatures. So watch out for them they are sacndalis.

Hello,
I would like to know how are they still in business if it's a scam? Is it that they modify certain loans? I currently have a file with them and am not sure if this is really going to happen or not. Please advise.

Tania,
I used to work for them. They're terrible. They do things illegally, their contracts are BS Sal copied and pasted from online...they do whatever they want with the money and let mods sit for months....I couldn't take all the stress they caused me and my clients, and had to leave. I'm sorry you have a mod with them.
