Passenger train service may be heading to Daytona
In about three years, passenger service could return to Florida East Coast Railway tracks for the first time in more than four decades, and a new train station in Daytona Beach could revitalize a depressed pocket of the downtown area.

I am not holding my breath on this one. Looks like Mica is set on killing this deal. A shame - this would have been good for the east coast of Fla.

If they have to think of this as an alternitive to the Sunrail & Mica doesn't want it, The Sunrail idea doesn't have any hope either.
