After 44 years, it is heartwarming to be remembered as an extraordinary teacher. Whether or not that is an accurate memory, or just an opinion, Ed Udel has remembered an exciting time at Mt. Greylock High School just after it opened, and he correctly remembers that Paul McDonald was the visionary who was responsible for that. His article brought back a number of memories for me, including the guidance of my mentor, Larry Vadnais, who truly is an extraordinary teacher and human being. Both of us are now retired, but we were a great team.
