Run Wingnut, Run!!!

If Toomey wins the Repug nomination, that's another easy pick-up for the Dems - nothing like an obstruction-proof 60+ Senate seats to further bury the Repugs into obscurity...I'd contribute to Toomey's primary run too, just so the Dem who beats him in the general has an easier time than s/he would against Specter.

Keep shrieking, wingnuts - you are already an irrelevant regional theocratic party. This will simply be one more huge move in sealing your descent into history's dustbin.

Good riddance to bad anti-American rubbish.

Specter is a disgrace to Pennsylvania, and he owes an apology to every family for the $10,000 debt he gave with that 'stimulus' vote.
GO TOOMEY!!

"Toomey, through his connections as president of the Club for Growth, is expected to have no trouble raising the millions of dollars necessary to challenge Specter."

That's because the Repugnant Party's "Club for Growth" is a reference to the stretching cause by their torture racks.

While in Congress, Toomey managed to get the Lehigh Valley blacklisted when it came to national programs. The last thing we need is the likes of him representing PA in the Senate! More than ever, PA needs someone who can play with others, not obstruct every step forward.

"Richard Thulin, head of the 20-member Lehigh Valley Republican Network"

I'm surprised that the Repugnant Party has 20 members in the Valley any more. Oh, that's right, the is some Klan activity in the neighboring Berks County area.

If the republicans stay the party that wants to see the economy fail, then let's hope no more republicans get in until they return to the core values that founded the party.

It's about time the Right fixes its party... then we can fix Washington. To those bitter, name-calling spend-crazy ones on the left living off the rest of us... I say watch what happens when we get tired of supporting people too lazy to work for themselves.

I can't stand that sick liberal Arlen Specter. However, Specter will smear Toomey.

Toomey sealed his own fate when he went on national TV to bash McCain AFTER the conventions--a defacto Obama endorsement.

While Toomey has his share of cocky little disciples who want to prove to each other they are "more holy than thou," Toomey's Obama endorsement will cost him dearly among true conservatives.

More GOP bull. Toomey is NOT for the average people. He is for the wealthy and party. He will do what the GOP and not what us people in this district wants. He is a party hack and class bigot. Move on Toomey back from where you came. We are not dumb to your Ideals and they aren't ours.

Toomey represents the core values of limited government and fiscal restraint. Once Obie is done messing up this country, a lot of people will support these principles. Only problem is that a white male is not politically correct any longer; candidates like Palin,Steele, and the La. Governor are more appealing to the liberal media, but this may change also. Count me in to support Toomey rather than Specter.

Well said, Pauline. Toomey's selfish agenda of promoting himself hurts true conservatives. He might spout out jargon such as "Rino" "Small Government", etc., but he's just as dangerous as the likes of Bill Deweese and John Perzel.

Americanitis... A disease primarily affecting left wing zealots who believe government is the answer to all problems. Sen. Spector is one of those holding a seat on the right.
Republican...one who lives in a Republic and supports that form of government... Guess what? We are all Republicans because we live in a Republic! Once you socialists figure that out, we will all be better off... it's called reading the constitution and federalist papers and bill of rights.
