Government foe, no here is saying pray for her because shes a celebrity. If more people in this world had just a little bit more compassion for one another the world would be a better place! To think there are people out there that would bad mouth any ill person, wether they deserve it or not makes me ILL

Actually, this person did.

You still don't get it, Kim. There are people deserving of compassion, but Aretha isn't one of them.

Why should rude people be deserving of compassion? Why should people who don't respect you, deserve respect? In your case, you stated AF was nice to you, that's fine, then return that compassion. When a person isn't nice to another, do you really believe the other person should return the compassion? You may say yes, again, that's fine, but I say no. What you fail to understand is even if you are a very nice and forgiving person, not everyone else is. You want to display compassion to all, go for it, but you shouldn't attempt to preach to those who don't. As I stated before, you accept differences and move on. IMO, rude, selfish, greedy people shouldn't be breathing. My compassion reaches out to those truly in need and truly deserving. AF is not one of them.

Government Foe you must lead a very sad life. The statement from MNS says nothing about Ms Franklin being a celebrity.

The sad part of my life is realizing the increasing ignorance of society, especially those who whine about a statement towards a rude celebrity, who claim their illness is not related to their obesity and think stating college experience will truly convince people they have some intelligence. Otherwise, I'm as happy as Aretha sitting on her fat ass being rude to everyone else. LMAO!

Why are so many of you tearing a dying woman to shreds? All she ever did was make music that made a lot of people feel good. You don't have to apply your Jerry Springer confrontational mentality to every post. Ya got no class people, ya got no class.

How did you come to that conclusion? I was addressing the lack of compassion and empathy shown on this thread. Why you see just the opposite is beyond me.

As I stated, the ignorance is overwhelming. You're either bias, blind or simply stupid if you haven't read my replies and concluded where my compassion lies. Either of them doesn't warrant you the invitation of an intellectual debate. Your hatred towards truth is what guides your ignorance.

Wow! It's shocking to me that this woman is still alive. Besides enlisting her brain-damaged son to burn down her house for an insurance payout, what has she done in the past 20 years except eat everything that is unfortunate enough to enter her field of gravity?

She was directing it towards me. If her college experience allowed her the luxury of proper writing skills, it would read as followed...

"Amen, Just Steve". <<<(Which means praise to you)

"@ GF",<<<(which means "to Government Foe", that would be me) "apparently you have no empathy....blah blah blah".

Notice the proper punctuations and word placement. Something you would normally see from a well rounded college graduate. What do I know, I'm just a cold hearted bastard who's compassion is directed towards those who are truly deserving.

What you say about Aretha Franklin is abhorrent and racist. It's really nasty. Aretha is the best female singer there has ever been. I'm not addressing your comments about her weight because it's beneath me. I don't want to lose Aretha. Go ..yerself
