Letters to the editor: Taking responsibility
#1 May 7, 2009
Bruce Nolan Waters mini-thesis "on taking responsibility for failed schools" was a good example of rehashing old problems. Those interested in solveing dismal student failures should get on line and go to - Vaughncharter.com and study the successes of Dr. Yvonne Chan and the "Little school that could". Charter schools should be the mandatory way to go. Should not students from lower income parents have a "La Salle" education. I think they could if Pasadena followed Dr. Chan's lead.
