Yes, we are rapidly reaching "girl power" and equality of the sexes. Why, just the other day the headline read something like "college professor opens fire after tenure denial." In the chauvinistic bad old days, the shooter would have been a man. But now, thanks to quotas, it's a woman. We are sooooo progressive!

The AP Style guide is unhelpful; Wikipedia lists both "mixtape" and "mixed tape"; and the New York Times prefers it as a compound noun (see this review: ).

For what it's worth, I wrote it as "mixtape" in my article.

I remember seeing X and Mary's Danish at the Catalyst numerous times back in the day.

Not exactly pure "girl power," but I considered them female or female led rock groups nonetheless.

cafe pergolessi/perg or whatever fake bullshit name it goes by now was once dr millers the best coffe house in town even though the sign stays put its now cafe pergolessi and setting foot in there is like trying to be trendy its disgusting and ucsc douches have taken over.
