I love USA. They like the Beatles more than their own country.

The people of France love Jerry Lewis, more than Americans do, but thats another story for another time.
America had the Elvis phenomena, and still do to some extent, So I guess it is somewhat surprising that America had the Beatles phenomena going on almost simultaneously when Elvis was going on, maybe Elvis going on a little earlier.
But I would love to go see this show in New Jersey. I've seen American English at a 4th of July celebration here in Illinois a couple of years ago. They were VERY good. Alas, I don't have neither the time, nor the money.

By the way, would it be appropriate for me to say, thank you, on behalf of Americans everywhere?
I'll just say thank you on behalf of one American, myself. I have it from family members that Greece is one of their favorite places to visit when traveling overseas. I will make it a point to put Greece very high on my list of places to see, when I finally get a chance to travel. My friend wants me to plan a trip with him and my kids to Italy, on the Adriatic side,Money being the issue. I figure a few years from now. Why not make Greece part of that trip. Cool.

Italy is great too. I wouldn't say my country is better you know. But as for me, I always loved and still love USA. I grew up with Hollywood movies, I was dressing as a cowboy in our Halloween, and you know, I love it. And I have met a lot of Americans. I think you're one of the best people in the world.

You're too kind.(by the way, I really have all of my teeth, it is just a silly image that I cultivate for humor sake)

I had mentioned to AWC on another thread, that if there were a Beatles convention somewhere, would it not be a good idea for online fans like us to make plans to attend, and meet up. It is just something to do. I'm not getting younger, and would love to do something crazy like this.
Just a thought.:-)

I know, I know. And I had figured it out that "Toothless" was made up for fun. It is more likely you'll get together than me who at this f.....moment, I am very busy and too far. My spirit will be with you! You know this song of John's "You are here"?

From Liverpool(or from Athens in my case) to Tokyo(or Seattle for you)
what a way to go
From distant lands, many Beatles' fans(one woman, one man the original)
let the four winds blow.

Three thousand miles over the ocean
Three thousand light years from the land of the bright sun(Greece).(the rising star, the original)

Wrong. "The rising sun". Yeah, Japan is the land of the rising sun. But USA is the land of the many stars(on the flag and metaphorically).

Yes, friend. Ulla is of an old Scandinavian origin, meaning will, determination. Except is short of Ulrica which it means "power of the wolf". We have now origin of names info, lol. I was learning Italian for some years. I know some good words for a girl...I imagine you are going to learn some for yourself, right? It's not Greek don't be afraid! The Beatles gave only one concert in Italy I think in 1965, in Milan. I have some photos of that concert in a book my cousin bought me(She lives in London). The impact of the Beatles is soo big everywhere I guess.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Cancer

Buoyed with confidence, you embrace the moment even as you throw yourself into the uncertain future. You aren't sure what's going to come next - and no one else is, either - but the influence of the Moon ensures that you're ready for just about anything. What may seem like completely spontaneous decisions are actually coming from knowledge deep within you. If you have a plan in mind to get you what you want, this is the time to implement it. Business and romantic rivals can't compete with you at the moment.
