when they opened shows for Led Zeppelin in the 1970's Jimmy Page called them "Jethro Dull" lol

they have 4 songs that I sort of like:
aqualung
cross-eyed mary
hymn 43
and locomotive breath

that's about it

Crue sux, they have always been washed up head bangers.
Not enough said you silly troll, I got more to say, Crue needs to retire, they and their fans look like crack heads.
Now, that's enough said.

Jethro Tull had an amazing string of groundbreaking material stretching from 1968 to 1972 for a total of five albums, VH ruled for their 1st three albums only, 1978 to 1980, and Crue didn't suck for only a year or so in 87-88 for mebbee an album and a half...you do the math...

Thomas, it is apparent these kids slept through the English Folk-Rock Roots Class at the School of Rock, being young whipper-snappers all from the sound of it, except of course for Mr. Wraukwell with whom I am quite in agreement.

Of course, with Ian Anderson degenerating into a parody of himself decades ago, and who should have reconsidered his viability on the Rock 'n' Roll World Stage and retired into a respectable next-career as, perhaps, a flute collector/repairer/historian whilst still performing occasionally for the benefit of fans such as Your Humble Servant (having been a personal witness to the glory of Jethro Tull back around '72 or so), who can blame the young'uns for having a skewed view of Tull's legacy?

Still, even with a youth's jaded ear polluted by rampant repetition and blatant copy-pasta of classic beats, they should be able to browse Tull's archive of wax and realize the classic sounds contained within.
