I don't know why many Bowie fans were thinking he was going to be there. I love him just as much as the next person, but he hasn't done any live performances in years so I wasn't expecting him at all. I figured there might be a tribute to him though. I don't think we'll be seeing him perform anymore because he's no longer David Bowie. Don't hate on me Bowie lovers. As a person who has never seen him live, I am not happy I missed my chance, but I am supportive of his decision to not perform anymore. He think he deserves to be a father and husband now.
