Just some years ago the politicians in Fyrom stated they where slavs and unrelated to the ancient macedonian region that is within Greece. The extremist government in Fyrom has not changed the derivative of the Identity of its citizens to "ancient Macedonians". You may quastion what is the purpose of that and what kind of government is running Fyrom today?

Zarko Trajanovski, columnist for the daily Dnevnik, argues that the government is conducting self-defeating, Bucephalic politics of brainwashing. Until yesterday we slept as Macedonian Slavs, today we wake up as ancient Macedonians...who knows how we will wake up tomorrow...

President Branko Crvenkovski, arch-enemy of VMRO leader and prime minister Nikola Gruevski, has also condemned the governments identity politics.
By using cheap populism, media manipulation, and abusing the patriotic feelings of the citizens, the current government has been conducting a systematic action, not for preservation or affirmation, but for re-defining our national code and identity, said President Crvenkovski in a recent debate.

Ljubomir Frckoski, presidential nominee of the opposition party, the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM), has accused the government of looking towards Pella (the birthplace of Alexander the Great) instead of towards Brussels.
According to Frckoski, the government's agenda to force the de-Slovenisation of Macedonians will not succeed

"We are Slavs who came to this area in the sixth century (AD)... we are not descendants of the ancient Macedonians."

Kiro Gligorov,(first democraticaly elected president of FYROM, referring to the citizens of his country), Foreign Information Service Daily Report, Eastern Europe, February 26, 1992

"The idea that Alexander the Great was something that belonged to our history was in the minds of some extremist political groups"

Denko Maleski, first Minister of foreign affairs of FYROM (1991 to 1993) and ambassador to the United Nations from 1993 to 1997, in an interview to Greek TV channel Mega, November 2006

"We are not related to the northern Greeks who produced leaders like Philip and Alexander the Great. We are Slavs and our language is closely related to Bulgarian. There is some confusion about our identity."

Gyordan Veselinov,(Referring to the citizens of FYROM) Ottawa Citizen, February 24, 1999

"We do not claim to be descendants of Alexander the Great ...; Greece is Macedonia's second largest trading partner, and its number one investor. Instead of opting for war, we have chosen the mediation of the United Nations, with talks on the ambassadorial level under Mr. Vance and Mr. Nemitz... we are Slavs and we speak a Slav language."

Ljubica Achevska, FYROM Ambassador to the US, reply to a question about the ethnic origin of the people of FYROM, January 22, 1999

"We are Bulgarians, more Bulgarians than the Bulgarians in Bulgaria themselves."

Krste Misirkov, "On Macedonian Matters", Macedonian Review Editions ,(Sofia 1903)

"We belong to the same Slav people."

Slobodan Casule,(born 1945), Foreign Minister of FYROM, to the Foreign Minister of Bulgaria Solomon Pasi, in an interview to "Utrinski Vesnik" of Skopje on December 29,2001.

Just so you know, all bones exumed in Greece are tested and studied by many independent universities around the world. If there was the slighted question of thr origins of the said bones, it would be front page news.
Your problem isn't just that you are Macedonia nothing, it's more that you are very late, Bulgarian lead and Ottoman backed RRIVALS IN EUROPE! By brave for a split second and ask yourself,'is there any other country in europe who has no produced even one outstanding humanbeing since your creation in 1945?

WE HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR!!!!!!!!!!even the ancient greek historians said you are fakes....read on low life...

As Parmenides asserts, nothing comes out of nothing; everything has its beginning, its origin, its cause. Like all things, like all peoples, the ancient Greeks have their origins. These are largely Egyptian, it is clear; Herodotus notes that the Greek debt to Egypt is such common knowledge that he need not speak of it himself: "How it happened that Egyptians came to the Peloponnese, and what they did to make themselves kings in that part of Greece, has been chronicled by other writers; I will add nothing, therefore...." (Histories VI:55) Even acknowledging this sizable influence, Herodotus would have agreed with Hurwit that all the Greeks borrowed or stole became Greek WE HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR!!!!!!!!!!even the ancient greek historians said you are fakes....read on low life...

Hey Canadezos - keep up the good work - Zhto H Ellada !!!

Where does that Serial Propagandist "Risto" find all the time to write all his BS articles?

Nobody denies that he is a Makedonski of Bulgarian Heritage but not a Macedonian...

Is he a Prof at some University or something?
He is not, just a Oconnor drive propagandist that makes the Nazi Propaganda machine look like boy scouts...

Think about ths...

All the University Profs from all over the world
have stated that Alexander the Great is a Greek Macedonian King.

Risto the disgruntled Greek and Gandeto whose real name is Griszlovski and others all say no.

Here is some historical information for ignorant brainwashed victims like you:
The Manchester Guardian (1901-1959); Jan 15, 1903;
THE MACEDONIAN* QUESTION.
To the Editor of the Manchester Guardian.
Sir,—I thank you sincerely for the appreciative com¬ments in your leading article of the 9th inst. Will you permit me to state that my main object in speaking out on this question was not to propound a policy, but to emphasise facts—facts which, though abundantly testified to by the correspondents of our leading news¬papers as well as by the representatives of Reuters and other agencies in the Near East, are habitually ignored by the champions of the so-railed Macedonian “nation”‘? Such a nation does not exist, save in the manifestoes of the Macedonian Committee. What does exist in Macedonia is a Slavonic population in the north, a mixture of Slavs and Greeks in the middle, pure Greeks in the south, and Mahometans sprinkled everywhere. Moreover, the Slavs of Northern aud Central Macedonia are homo¬geneous neither in blood nor in sentiment. They are partly Bulgarian and partly Servian, but they them¬selves do not always know which is which. In the days before 1885 it was Russians policy to call them all Bulgarians; after the breach between the Principality and the Empire it became Russia’s policy to call them all Servians. Lastly, there is also a comparatively smail proportion of Wallachs in the province, who however, are indissolubly hound up with the Greeks and for all political purposes are to be regarded as Greeks.
Now this holch-polch is labelled a “nation” by the apostles of the Bulgarian idea, who wish to absorb the rival races and, under the cover of the misleading name “Macedonian,- really to create □ Bulgarian State destined sooner or later to join the Principality. This is the long and the short of the Macedonian question as a purely political problem and apart from administrative misrule and all tho concomitant evils—separable from a land governed by the ” Unspeakable ” I neither defend nor denounce programmes, policies, solutions, and the rest of the nostrums which go to make up the bulky volume of Macedonian political pharmacopoeia. I simply desire to establish historic truth, a thing which in these matters is exposed to at least as grave a peril as the “Macedonian nation” itself.

Your nick shows how advanced culture you have... Greece in 1947-1949 didn't have any airplanes that could throw napalms. Until 1944 Greece was ocuppied by the nazi Germany. RAF was helping the greek national army against the communist guerillas. And thank God, national army won.....
