An overwhelming majority of Americans support the Postal Service's plan to end Saturday mail delivery, according to a poll conducted by The New York Times/CBS News.

you will also find most Americans would support the idea of a private company taking over mail delivery..as a government service,they do not have to provide a quality service that customers want.they can pick and choose who to serve.hell they can even lose or throw away your mail,and not have to worry about the court system..lets open them up to law suits like a private company is..then see how it works..i see them in rural areas as the last of the old Jim crow operators..have you every seen a minority worker in a rural area..guess why..do to the fact they can not be sued,they are free to pick who gets mail where..i say do away with them.and i am a white man,but the truth is the truth.
