I am looking forward to meeting ex postal workers who treated me like crap at my local McDonalds.
YES, I WOULD like fries with that.
And if you treat customers the way you did when you delivered the mail, good luck having McDonalds let you get away with it like your bloated tick gov did.

if your prediction is true, there will be a lot of pissed off postal workers going postal (shooting) each other and their supervisors. they would never get used to the private sector wages. i hope patrick gives them some kind of a notice before he boots them out on the street to bring in temp service workers at a much lower cost. manpower has a lot of people on hand that could fill the postal jobs in the near future. many of them are willing to learn to speak english, they dont care about benefits because they just want to work and send the money back to their home country.

The whole problem with the USPS is their attitude. Everyone tends to look at the public as the enemy.
It's a pissing contest that has drenched the public/customers with a lousy attitude and lousy service. The office people and half of the carriers seem like some of the most bitter, ignorant, arrogant and stupid people that ever worked for a company. The service is uneven and irregular. Each carrier is different. Each office person treats you different. Management needs a makeover as well, like not working a job that ever puts them in contact with the public again-they don't care, they look at the public as the enemy as well.
NO BAILOUT. I rather pay the ex postal workers for 99 weeks and have things like competition and alternatives come in and last for 100s and 100s of weeks.
