California to the Cleveland, OH area via Warrendale, PA

I'm really getting tired of slow deliveries due to routing. Specifically, it has reached a point where most of my packages from the western U.S. are routed to Warrendale, PA. This delays delivery by two or three days and adds an unnecessary 230 miles to the distance. Why is it necessary to route packages from the west coast past my area and back? It's no wonder the postal service is losing customers and money.

You know what's even worse? Living under an hour from the Warrendale dispatch center and watching packages arrive there on a Friday and not be delivered until Monday. ALL. THE. TIME.
I have stopped looking for logic when it comes to USPS...but I still feel your pain.

p.s. I don't live in Brecksville, but in Canton. Apparently my IP address is routed through there. More nonsensical routing *applauds the morons-at-be*
