Please remember that the thoughts posted here are in response to a KID and his love of dancing. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, some of the adult-oriented, graphic comments are out of line. As the aunt of young Eli, I can't imagine that the same people who post graphic comments about Michael Jackson would want Eli to read the content of their posts, and if they do, what does that say about them? I encourage everyone who reads an inappropriate posting to ignore it and NOT respond to it in defense or otherwise. People continue to post when they can get a rise out of someone and that is their ONLY goal. Positive posts that Eli can enjoy and keep are welcome--Ignore the rest. Thank you to everyone who posted positive comments.
Aunt Kathy, while your post is true, Eli being a young person should only be given positive encouragement there is one thing that should be remembered: Michael Jackson is NOT a role model! Okay, so he could dance a little and sing a little but he made lots and lots of money doing that. Why not encourage Eli to be a great performer in his own way. Have him come up with his own style of song and dance and not mimmick somebody like MJ. Eli is a very talented boy and should do well for himself. Hopefully he will realize though that he doesn't have to be a "wanna be" and he will find his own style of doing things. Now that would be soemthing to be proud of.

I want to say this and I hope little Eli is doing this because he wants to and not because his parents are telling him he has to. From where I'm at it appears that little Eli wants to dance its just that he can dance to my songs as well as I can. Little Eli make sure you can dance other ways also and branch out my stuff will only last so long.

No this is the way it should be not everyone is a winner like the LIBERALS want it to be. Quit being a cry baby that your son couldn't do this well. This country has turned into a bunch of "everybody wins" wackos and they don't. This kid is a good dancer and the next kid may be a good football player but not every kid or person coming down the road is and shouldn't be told they are just so their feelings don't get hurt. When they get out in the real world and they don't get hired for a job they are not going to know what to think because the LIBERALS have programed them to think everyone is a winner!

Correct, quit sugar coating the world. It's harsh and mean, sure love is present. But you really need to learn street smarts in order to survive. I have known kids that excel in every high school clubs and sports event. Once they hit the pavement for a real job, they haven't a clue as to why they did not get the job. In the high school activity programs, you have classmates cheering each other on. On the outside, you are alone. One must believe in themselves and be determined to succeed in your goals. Do not ever give up your dreams, only you can make it happen. One very important factor is to Love yourself, the world will be at your command. ROCK ON!!!
