Bele Chere adds local talent

The 2007 Bele Chere festival will have a strong local flavor, with about 50 percent of the entertainment coming from Asheville and Western North Carolina artists.

Melissa Porter should tell John Hayes he should have to look no further than Charlotte, NC to see what the effects having more racially diverse performers will do to the Festival. Charllote has yet to resomve its problems with the, let me see how I should address this, how about racially diversd gangs and guns on the street during the Festival. I would not return to another Charlotte Festival if they allowed me to bring my shootgun.OK I know what folks are going to call me, but one thing they will not be able to call me is dumb.

People of all colors act like A-Holes when brought together in that type of venue..and bringing them all together under one tent will really tax the tensions

Because we already have Freaks, drug addicts and illegals running wild in the streets of Asheville. Need local talent then why not get the bums to tell stories. The one about their car running out of gas and they need money to get home never gets old. Then you got the grown men who look like they never owned a shirt in their lives kicking a hackey sack around in the middle of the day..day after day inbetween anti America protests could give lessons on not how to spend your life. The drunks who infest downtown could have drinking contests. So much talent in donwtown and we have not even got to the wild colored hair peirced every part of the body tattoo freaks who are allergic to soap, water and a little shampoo but will try to enlighten you on a daily basis about how bad this country is.
