He is a great man. However, even great men are expected to pay taxes.

Wow, what a shame. He is so talented. Do the crime, pay with time, as they say.

Although he will spend his time in a hospital, hopefully. The fact that he is sick fighting kidney cancer, and all there should of been some sort of PARDON. There are people who kill people an don't do that kind of time! There are people who accidentally shoot their best friends on hunting trips who do no time at all.

This man is dying with cancer and with cancer it can be a day or many days. This talented singer deserves better. This was a non-violent crime or crimes and he possibly could of been ill too when he did what he did or on the onset of illness and not rationally thinking.

This is sad, yet it is good he will be getting medical care. This man also had a stroke and well, this is just sad. Hopefully his friend's will stand by him and keep him from going into total depression.

If I chose to not pay my taxes, I'd be in prison. The fact that the man is sick, a great singer, a legend, etc has nothing to do with it. Those of us who have made far less than Ron Isley in our lives pay our taxes. Why should he be an exception?

He has done know more wrong than the other so call big dogs, the only difference is he got caught. I agree there should had been some type of PARDON. The man is a legend and very ill. After all he did not kill any one. May be his name should have been (MARTH STEWART OR LIL KIM) Than he would not have gotten so much time.

Lets set the record straight, Ron is from My loins, his Father God almighty, nothing happening to him gets passed Me. He's a very important Man in My plan watch the gates of imprisonment fling open at My will. Times up for wicked rulership. Tax evasion does not deserve prison time, not paying tithes to Me can get one hardtimes, but even I don't imprison My rebellious loveones, they will surely pay up to Me. Don't worry about Ron I got this. all gates came from My soil they are either forced open or calming opened, My choice. All readers; " Love Your God, Me "Lord of Love" My name? it for sure isn't jesus, buddha, ali or none of those other false gods made up by this worlds rulers, stop following false beliefs. Whose holding up the world? and blocking missles? remoting 'em away from you all My beloved, none other than myself. God of abraham, Issac, yacob and yourselves. learn My identity from believers at our email. write us, now your God loves you and Ron too. shalom

Since you think it's ok not to pay your taxes, I would be the first person to refuse your ass credit. Non-paying, no credit having idiot.

What the hell does love have to do with paying your taxes? I love his music too. That doesn't mean a damn thing in the scheme of things. Does Isley think he's Al Capone? Give me a break.

This campaign to "pardon" Ronald Isley is ridiculous. Didn't anybody read about what this man has done? He is a despicable human being. Not only did he steal from the government and the taxpayers, he stole from his own brothers (the Isley Brothers), even his dead brother (O'Kelly Isley). He stole from his younger disabled brother (Marvin Isley). In his act as "Mr. Biggs," he plays a pimp who denigrates women. His "son" (best friend I guess) is R. Kelly, a child molester. He has never done anything of value for the Black community but has enriched himself off the work of the younger Isley Brothers, who wrote all the music for the Isley Brothers, and then he stole from them as well. As far as being old and disabled, why is he still on the road performing?(see youtube). Please, don't we have better things to worry about? This "campaign" is a disgrace.

We all fall short. Look what they did to our Lord
Jesus... They prosecuted Jesus and pardoned Barabas, "a murderer". Now look at this... fast forward through time to the here and now...
They have pardoned a big time dope dealer in Atlanta GA. someone who has probably paticipated second hand to many murders by the product he sold, but they can't allow Ron Isley a pardon because he did'nt pay his portion to the biggest "PIMP" of the world????? Where's the love?

With that said, it still does not make any difference. Several white friends of Bush received pardons for more than Ron Isley done. So what he did not pay his taxes? Did he trade secrets to the enemy, no. But the fact that he is a black man asking a white president for a favor is unheard of isn't it..
