Always sad to hear of a old rocker taking the deep plunge. I didn't care for their music but there were many who did.

In the spring of 1972, during a break in their Carrouselle Club show, I shook Mr. Yost's hand outside, telling him that I like their music too. He said, "Thanks, brother!", and ran off down the sidewalk in downtown Augusta, Georgia. I was a soldier student at the nearby U.S. Army Southeastern Signal School at Fort Gordon. None of my buddies wanted to go downtown to see this Classics IV show because they were harder rock fans. My little ex-wife and I bought their greatest hits album and played it often, good smooch-and-sweat music with not a loud profane crazy song on it.
