Fairfax has many hidden treasures. Best organica supermarket in California, the Good Earth, best ice cream across the street, the all organic Fairfax Scoop and the ulimate coffee house, the Bookbeat on Bolinas up from the corner.

I met my wife at the Bookbeat. It's got great food, live music Saturday afternoon, books of all kinds and a really laid back atmosphere. I hope that this 'business improvement' plan doesn't handicap existing businesses like this.

Avoid Grilley's Mexican food, I found it to be filthy with medeocre food and the peons working there to be uninterested in anything but the cash register.

Hi, could you please let Fairfax residents know when your next kkk event is. We can't have peons running our resturants. You need to move to a compound somewhere with mental midgets like yourself

The police presence is more prevalent
than a lockdown at san quentin. Give the cops something to do, other than looking for marginal
tickets.

Larry, when I go to a Mexican restaurant, I like Mexican food but not Mexican health standards like a guy picking his nose or handling cash before making a burrito. Indolent and arrogant customs officals I can tolerate at the border, but not that behavior in a food handling establishment. I lived in Mexico for years and I think I know what a peon is. You, on the other hand, I suspect, are probably one of those coffee house intellectuals with a shoulder bag and a nose ring who has never traveled except by BART. How are things over in S.F. Why are you reading the I.J.?
