Okay, That's not nice, but I'm entitled to my opinion, freedom of speech. I personally believe that Bob Wier is overated. Don't get me wrong I like some of his songs, but he's is not that great. Bob Wier is a self centered business man whose practices don't adhere to the ideals of the Grateful Dead when Jerry was still around. You know telling me to "shut up." shows lack on intelligence on your part. Who cares about your crushes on Bob Wier, Most of the people who are deadheads could care less how hot you think bobby is. crushes are for high school. Oh' by the way Bob Wier lives in California. I'm not intimidated by musicians, all they are is people and if Bobby was right in front of me I would tell him how I feel about him.

"your" not much better!!! You are trying to prove your intelligene by verbally sparring with people who have ideals much like you. My "crush" was not so much a crush but rather someone who was young searching for soemone who had the same values as she. You are just trying to fight for fighings sake. yes you are entitled to your opinion. it just sucks.

Man, sounds like Patrick needs an all-American mother's supervision. "If you don't have anything nice to say..."

If you hated squash, would you eat it just to complain about how much you detest the color, flavor and texture?

If there is to be respect for free speech, we need to concern ourselves with our audience. If you are going to a site, group or gathering to voice your disapproval, if it is not detrimental to existance, what is the point?

If you like Phil Lesh and Friends better, that's great. Perhaps, you should go to one of Phil's sites and say something positive about him and the band. Leave all the Ratdog fans to their own to do the same. Enjoy your musical preferences!

Be responsible. Try not to offend. Try not to be offended.

Boogie with what moves you!

Come on now. We all know that after Jerry died the whole thing went down hill. All the Grateful Dead spin off bands are a let down without him. I don't mean this offensively, but it's true Jerry was the leader.

Amen, jack straw. I have seen some good Ratdog shows, and some great Phil & Friends shows, but in the end is alway a little sadness.

Never be the same without the sweet song to fill the air...

Still missin' you, Jer

It's a shame, but it's true. It's too bad there isn't any really good music any more. I heard a show several years ago; Trey was playing with Phil and I'm not sure who else, but it was truely top knotch. They played a Help/Slipknot/Franklins that was almost perfect. What show was that?

Well, Robert hunter is still alive, he was a big part of the heart and soul of the dead. I think all the remaining band members have thier own talents and am overjoyed to listen to there new works. It's really easy to be citical of other peoples art, just try it yourself to see how bad you suck at it.

peace
