This will really help in getting the rest of the world to take UCSC more seriously, especially in these times of devastating economic crises, it is good to see the UCSC administration has its priorities straight. Once in awhile you get shown the light, in the strangest of places, if you look at it right.

What the article doesn't say is that there's an opening gala for the museum show that costs HUNDREDS of dollars per ticket. Guess there must be some PRETTY RICH DEADHEADS on WALL STREET.

I would say that Jerry is turning in his grave, but nah. He liked rich people. They GAVE HIM MONEY.

Right outside this lazy summer home
you don't have time to call your soul a critic, no
Right outside the lazy gate of winter's summer home
wondering where the nuthatch winters
Wings a mile long just carried the bird away

Wake up to find out
that you are the eyes of the World
but the heart has its beaches
its homeland and thoughts of its own
Wake now, discover that you
are the song that the morning brings
but the heart has its seasons
its evenings and songs of its own

Duuuuuuude. Back in the day, I attended over 60 grateful dead shows... Duuuuuuuuude. I dropped over 600 hits of acid, smoked four pounds of pot, took 90 ecstasy pills, and drank about 87 gallons of alcohol. Duuuuuuuuuude Being that I don't remember any of it, these archive events are SWEEEEEEEEEEET... Duuuuuuuude, was this music really so boring?

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuude.
Picture a bright blue ball, just spinning, spinnin free,
Dizzy with eternity.
Paint it with a skin of sky,
Brush in some clouds and sea,
Call it home for you and me.
A peaceful place or so it looks from space,
A closer look reveals the human race.
Full of hope, full of grace
Is the human face,
But afraid we may lay our home to waste.
------
There's a fear down here we can't forget.
Hasn't got a name just yet.
Always awake, always around,
Singing ashes, ashes, all fall down.
Ashes, ashes, all fall down.
------
Now watch as the ball revolves
And the nighttime falls.
Again the hunt begins,
Again the bloodwind calls.
By and by, the morning sun will rise,
But the darkness never goes
From some men's eyes.
It strolls the sidewalks and it rolls the streets,
Staking turf, dividing up meat.
Nightmare spook, piece of heat,
It's you and me.
You and me.

Dead museum will bring millions to Santa Cruz. Over time will bring in more tourist money and become bigger draw than the boardwalk.
Another project on the long list the city never really got behind. Should have could have. Marijuana & Herb shop dispensary would be a nice addition next to museum. Jerry would be grooving it. May even write a song.

Santa Cruz get ready because the dead heads will be coming. Yes with a lot more money than before. Today there are executive business leader and even politicians that were DEAD.

What a pitiful and shameful WASTE of taxpayer money!
And student fees are rising, and students are being turned away!

Unless PRIVATE DONATIONS are obtained IN ADVANCE to cover 100 % of this, it should be cancelled!

Use the money for EDUCATION!!!

Spanish lady come to me, she lays on me this rose.
It rainbow spirals round and round,
It trembles and explodes
It left a smoking crater of my mind,
I like to blow away.
But the heat came round and busted me
For smilin on a cloudy day
please give me a break

I came across an empty space
It trembled and exploded
