I figured people here would appreciate this. It's exciting news!
Recently, over the last 6 months, a Grateful Dead Acid test poster and handbill collection was gradually uncovered from an older gentleman in PA., who held onto them for his whole lifetime until he was ready to pass on. The collection fell into the hands of a Grateful Dead fan and psychedelic poster collector in the Bay Area near SF, CA.
There was a poster from the Warlocks first paid gig at Magoos Pizza Parlor on May 5, 1965, a poster for Frenchy's on June 18, 1965 Phil Lesh's first gig with the Warlocks, a set of tickets for the In Room in Belmont on Sept. 1, 1965, a Poster for the very first Acid Test at the Spread in Santa Cruz, a handbill for the Fillmore Acid Test in SF, and a handbill for the Carthay Studios Acid Test on Match 19, 1966. There was also a hand made poster for Mother McCree's Uptown Jug Champions at the Tangent in July of 1964, and a hand-made colored handbill for the Palo Alto Acid Test at the Big Beat Club on Dec. 18, 1965. The last piece recovered from the collection was an Original Hand-colored in Crayon, Warlocks Acid Test Poster designed by "Captain Trips", and further research showed the artwork was indeed, Jerry Garcia's. This led to a discovery that Jerry Garcia himself actually drew and designed some of the earliest Acid Test posters and handbills. This is an amazing discovery. You can read more about it here:

There are 32 pages off of this one, called the Acid Test Chronicles

I bet if he licked the poster he'd still take a trip!
