Ain't it grand? As a 2nd generation Deadhead myself, it brings back many heartwarming and truly beautiful childhood memories I have of being at shows w/family!

It's another Grateful Dead "Miracle, every day"!!

My cheeks are tingling...that's a beautiful story. Mindblowing...all of the similarities aside from the obvious looks...very cool. Interesting read. Thanks...Much love...I hope to see you two cats at a show someday.

Wow, how great they both got stoned in the same place at the same school. I wish I had that in common with my dad..........

While it is a awesome the two finally hooked up, and they have so much in common to go over now - the story has a sad backdrop of missed opportunity for a father and son, and a misguided journey of the biological parents hiding this from their son and themselves.

I think Baby Boomer types tend to gloss over things in a world of some denial.

Yeah, imagine how much water they'll save on not bathing.
But the cost of patchouli oil might cut into Their savings though.

I cannot tell you how happy this makes me. I am a San Anselmo resident (and eternal Deadhead) who has lately been too depressed to listen to the Dead or any other music. But I remember what joy the Dead gave me live, manny times (tho' alas, never in Calif.) and in all the tapes I have and this is just good stuff. I wish nothing but the best for 'y'all."

Remember: It's a very long time to be gone, but a very short time to be here--or there (with my bad hearing I was never sure which). Anyhoo, make the most of the time you have. Peace, Jill

nice story.

it's just a shame that it was the Dead and not someone with actual talent. They were crap then and continue to be so to this day.

total libtard story. Mother sleeps around, no idea who the father is and then the IJ writes about it. Undoubtedly drugs were likely involved at conception.

What a sick, sick, story!

If you think this is a good story, then you have the mental disorder with no known cure called Liberalism.

Dear Jill, Don't be sad and don't shut yourself away from the music, take your own advice, life's too short. When you get confused listen to the music play, you'll find your way, it may take a while but in the end you'll find there's nothing left to do but smile smile smile. Let yourself be happy, it's ok.
