I can't wait to hear the album Tuesday and have been waiting for, well almost all of my life to hear more music. Although I know the music won't be the same as the 70's tunes that are now classics, it will however showcase the talent this group has to offer and also illustrate how they have evolved from "Rock Stars" to "Artists" showing there view of the world. Some people paint, these gentleman sing to express their art. I am anxiously waiting for Tuesday.

Having heard the guys live at L.A.'s Nokia center in October, they still sound incredible, which, at their ages, is no small feat. The new CD is uneven, but 7 or 8 new Eagle's songs that are excellent is like manna from Heaven for me.
Glenn Frey's compositions are pretty, and pretty bland. You can see why the Henley/Frey collaborations have historically been the band's best, with Henley's fiercely poetic, angry, depressive, and insightful) nature complementing Frey's more mellow temperament. Oh yeah, and give Joe Walsh a break. His compositions add some life, humor, and certainly a change of pace to the CD (not to mention some great guitar solos), and, despite appearance, he can actually sing. Buy and enjoy!

Having been at the O2 gig in London this week I totally agree with the previous post Joe Walsh was sensational playing Guilty of the Crime it certainly woke the audience (corporate snoozers) up. The new album is without a doubt a gem.It will probably be there last so treasure it.

Pretty much agree with the review, a good (not great) album. In fact it sounds a bit like the guys went in with their solo material and made the best of it. It's tough to go back - the 70's were a long time ago, so props to them for doing a decent job. Now, lets have a tour - thats where they really shine!

Boring , I can' t believe this is the Eagles! Who talked them into this. It"s no wonder this is a Wall-Mart exclusive! No one with any taste in music will listen to this twice! It makes me sad that the Eagles put their name on this.
