Didn't I read a couple of years ago that Gloucester was switching to biodiesel fuel in their busses?

My kids ride a biodiesel bus now and I love it. It doesnt smell at all and is much quieter than the old diesel buses. I like that I can tell my kids that the soybeans they see growing and the farmers harvesting are powering the bus they ride to school. To be honest propane scares me. I realize it may be my own misconceptions but I know several people who have been seriously injured by propane (including a professional propane worker) That tells me that it is not the safest alternative.

Go to www.pickensplan.com and read all about it. This is a giant step forward and may help to save the bay. Air borne polutants need to be cut back if we are going to stand a chance of succeeding in that arena. They have improved the air quality significantly in California by replacing a small percentage of their garbage trucks with propane driven vehicles. Go Gloucester!!!

We ahouldn't be purchasing NEW Busses at all. Its time to start rebuilding from the azel up older busses. Most all these vehicles have a good, safe, chasis. Rip the motor out, replace all the vitals, brakes, bearings etc. etc.

Replace the engine with propane powered engines. Even the old gasoline powered engines can be converted easily to propane.
Exxon has been using propane for 30+ years and they are as safe as gasoline or diesel.
Another thing we should immediately do is recapp tires for use on the rear of the bus. They have been proven to be as safe if not safer than new tires because they are inspected for defects before capping.

We must start recycling all these vehicles for the best interest of the taxpayers and our country.

School busses do not have seat belts for the very reason we are supposed to wear them. They don't have them incase they get intoan accident the driver does not have to unbuckle them to get the children off the bus in a hurry.

Brillant, as opposed to going to pay off the Fab 4's personal lawyer fee's? Hmmm, at least more than one person is benefitting here.

Now STFU and sit in the corner.

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Cancer

No one can accuse you of being a wallflower today! The modern cowboy or cowgirl has a tendency to shoot from the lip and you won't be afraid to tell it like it is. Your response will be quick, and your timing near perfect. If you don't accomplish what you set out to do this morning by the end of the day, it won't be for lack of trying. Getting an 'A' for effort is sometimes better than facing the test.
