The Room is VERY awesome! Everybody is always complaining there is nothing to do around Pittsfield.. well here you go! Every weekend there is awesome music and great people. Support this and support Local and Touring bands. It is very much appreciated and you will realize that if you just give this place a chance!

andy poncherello has done something that a lot of us have always thought about/dreamed about doing. having a punk rock record shop and venue for local bands to play, that we do not have to drive 45+ minutes to get to.

Dottie's is the former Bellisimo Dolce in the Greystone Building across from the Lantern and 510 walk-in. Its a nice establishment owned by a young entrepreneur (Jessica Rufo), but it does have the "hipster" culture that I dislike, plus I can't stand coffee. Its a nice atmosphere for hippies I guess.

Seriously, there are no hipsters in Pittsfield. The owner of Dottie's has done a nice job, but damn, I just don't like Barrington Roasters. Wish I did, would really like to support the local businesses.

Yeah, and women's clothing that does not remotely fit the person (Though not gay), in addition to pretending to like things that seem popular, like basketball. Also indulging in marijuana is a large part of this movement apparently. You'll find a lot of these types from here to the Amherst area.
