It is time for every Christian in America to boycott the Israel hating attack machine of the liberal media and especially CBS deceitful 60 minutes that serve the Obama propaganda against Israel in support of the Mozlem Brothers and their reactionary Shariya laws that persecute Christians in the PLO terrorists Mozlem cities and the Hamas terrorists in Gaza. Since Obama took control of the White House claiming he was ‘Christian’ in January 2009 he emboldened the Mozlem Brotherhood and Jihadist terrorists all over the Middle east, Africa and Asia to persecute Christians according to the primitive culture of the Shariya laws of the 7th century that call Christians ‘pigs’ and monkeys’ and denying their basic human rights. Christians under the PLO and Hamas terrorist rule were attacked and humiliated time and again and their Christian Churches were burned of which bibles were desecrated and burned. In Egypt where Obama removed Mubarak from power because he stood up to the Mozlem Brothers and protected the rights of 8 million Coptic Christians the Jihadist terrorists of Hamas attacked the church with suicide bombing and killed many Christians and leading to their living under constant threats of expulsion by brutal Mozlem Brother fanatics. It is time for the Jews who love Israel and its capital Jerusalem to criticize the anti-Semitic liberal media under Obama’s daily instructions and control led by the Associated Obama’s Press AP and the NY Times that twisting and re-writing the news to fit their Mozlem Brother and communistic agenda against America and Israel.

St. John in the Desert Monastery Closes After Jewish Settlers Attack Priest

by Gil Zohar
Toronto Times

One of the most serene holy places in the vicinity of Jerusalem was recently compelled to restrict visits as a result of vandalism, bigotry and theft.

The Franciscan-run St. John in the Desert Monastery, which includes a convent, now only permits Christian pilgrims and secular groups led by a licensed tour guide. Reservations are required to visit the six-hectare Judean Hills shrine, which enjoys a spectacular location amidst heavily forested ancient agricultural terraces. The change in policy follows an altercation there last month involving a group of some 30 Jews described as "settlers" who assaulted the monastery's Father Superior Sergio Olmedo and then trashed the pilgrimage destination.

The monastery, located near Moshav Even Sapir on Hwy. 386, is dedicated to the life of John the Baptist. The shrine is built around the grotto where Christian tradition holds John and his mother lived, and the still-bubbling spring from which they drank. The Arabic name 'Ain al-Habis meaning Spring of the Hermit preserves the ancient tradition tying the place to John.

Elisabeth is buried on the grounds in a tomb that shows Byzantine, Crusader and 20th century construction. A group of nuns lead by Sister Maatje, originally from Neuchatel, Switzerland, live beside the tomb.

St. John in the Desert has long been a favorite hiking destination for Jerusalemites, some of whom combine a visit there with a swim at the nearby Sataf Nature Preserve. Some of those Israeli visitors also came to the 'Ain al-Habis spring – which serves as a baptismal pool – to exploit it as a mikveh. In the spirit of ecumenicalism, Father Sergio permitted the parallel usage.

Some visitors would hop the fence and trespass, armed with guns, he said, reciting a litany of abuse, boorishness and desecration. Women would immodestly wear bikinis at the baptismal pool while men would parade naked. Some would swim in the carp pond, notwithstanding the brackish water, and then wash off in the baptismal pool. Visitors would litter, and not clean up after their pet dogs defecated. Money would be pilfered from the alms collections box.

Not least of the disrespectful behavior was simply talking loudly, and preventing the monks from carrying out their daily routine of prayer.

St. John in the Desert is not just a monastery, explained Father Sergio, but a "hermitage, a place of silence and spiritual rejuvenation."

The final straw on the proverbial camel's back came in the afternoon of Friday, August 17. A group of about 30 men, some carrying machine guns, forced their way past the gate, demanded to use the pool as a mikveh and refused to leave, Father Sergio recounted. "They started to say 'Eretz Israel is our land, and you have to go.' They were very aggressive. They spit at me. They said 'You killed my family.'"

In the ensuing scuffle Father Sergio managed to photograph some of his assailants with his cell phone camera. They were wearing kippot and tzitzit, he noted. Some were dressed in orange in the fashion of activists protesting last summer's withdrawal from Gush Katif. Some were speaking English, and others Hebrew.

Father Sergio, still badly shaken, characterized the group as "fanatics". "I've seen these [kind of] people in Hebron."

Before finally leaving, the enraged crowd went on a mini-pogrom, breaking water pipes, smashing potted plants, and destroying property. Father Sergio and the other monks subsequently found direction signs leading to the property had been vandalized so that the word "Franciscan" read "racist".

Father Sergio lodged a complaint with Israel Police and provided them with his digital photos. No arrests have been made at the time of this writing. The pool remains padlocked.

Christians of the Holy Land

by Ben White

Despite claims by Israeli government officials, Christian Palestinians regularly face discrimination.

It is interesting that Israel (and its advocates) have been so concerned about the impact of a short segment regarding the challenges faced by Christian Palestinians under Israeli military occupation. In fact, Ambassador Oren himself only recently tried to exploit Christians for propaganda purposes - only to find that they objected to his cynicism.

The Israeli government has long tried to suggest that the emigration of Christian Palestinians is the result of a "jihad" being waged by "terrorists" or "fundamentalists". There are obvious advantages to this strategy, particularly its dependence on pre-existing prejudices and stereotypes in the West. But it also seeks to neutralise a potentially damaging threat: that people around the world will see Christian Palestinians leaving their historic homeland due to Israeli colonisation and occupation.

In 1948, Christian Palestinians were not spared the devastation of the Nakba, when Israel destroyed hundreds of villages, and expelled up to 90 per cent of the Palestinians who would have been inside the new state. The hundreds of thousands prevented from returning home included35 per cent of all Christians in pre-1948 Mandate Palestine. Haifa's Christian population, for example, was reduced by 85 per cent. Some Christian Palestinians became citizens, but their land remains confiscated.

Since 1967, Palestinians living in the West Bank and Gaza have been subject to Israel's military occupation, and on both sides of the Green Line, Christian Palestinians face the same conditions of systematic racial discrimination as Muslims - on the basis that they're not Jews.

Israeli colonisation has fragmented and splintered the traditional Christian heartland of Bethlehem, Ramallah, and Jerusalem - home to around 80 per cent of the Occupied Territories' Christians - through land confiscation, illegal settlements, the Separation Wall, and the regime of travel "permits".

The isolation of Bethlehem has hit Palestinian Christians particularly hard, where unemployment and poverty levels remain high. The illegal Separation Wall takes in approximately 10 per cent of the Bethlehem region, or governorate, including some of the most fertile land. Overall, through a combination of Israeli policies (including 19 illegal Jewish settlements), the UN estimates that only 13 per cent of the Bethlehem region is available for Palestinian use.

Unsurprisingly, these are conditions that make young people despair about the future. In fact, a number of studies show clearly the reasons why Christian Palestinians emigrate. It's not what Michael Oren or Christians United For Israel would have you believe.

As far back as 1993, 88 per cent of Christian Palestinians surveyed about emigration specified the economic situation. In a 2006 survey, 78 per cent of Christian respondents to a Bethlehem-based poll said "Israeli aggression and occupation are the main cause of emigration", while only 3.1 per cent exclusively blamed the "rise of Islamic movements" (12.1 per cent said it was a combination of the two). More than half of those Christians surveyed had at least one relative whose land had been confiscated by Israel.....

Use hyphens like "Israel-hating attack machine" or even "Israel-hating attack-machine" or some will read Israeli "hating-attack-machine " as if the villain is Israel.

"It is time for the Jews who love Israel and its capital Jerusalem to criticize the anti-Semitic liberal media"

It's time for all who understand where Western values come from, who understand the fundamental lies involved in vilifying Israel basically because by remaining alive in history, they testify to the falsehood of the Islamic claims about what prophets said and did before the supposed prophet Mohammed.

If Mohammed was a prophet, every other prophet was a Muslim. By living and reminding people today of the impossibility of the Islamic texts being even plausible, Jews are hated with such intensity, there is no hope for peace until Islam is exposed overtly for the absolute lies used for its very foundations.

Obviously, anyone who truly knows the history of Islam and the Bible (which can be verified even by atheist archeologists far enough back to prove just as conclusively that Islam is based entire on lies about Jews) knows that every sane person who objects to people being murdered in the name of a blatantly false religion, this is the most urgent message I can think of.

Therefore, "Christian" leaders who advise their followers not to evangelize Muslims are insane!!!! Maybe don't try to convert them right away to the real Bible (as a Jew or Christian) but at least show them proof that Mohammed was totally delusional. It is impossible that anything more than high crimes occurred under his brutal regime. It is a satanic desire for power that leads so many to want to emulate, and the claims about God simply make that easier to achieve, once it was proved what some people will swallow.
