As a 45 year Van fan I can say there is a lot of good stuff here. Leadbelly's Western Plains, the humourour Steppin' out Queen to name just a couple, but to me the slow version of Flamingoes Fly is worth the price of the discs alone. I've listened to it about 100 times since having the album and it can still bring a tear to my eyes. I know that a very good faster version appears on Perios of Transition but I wish he would re-record this version with the intent of putting it on album.
