I've followed Nick Cave's music career the past 25 years or so with trepidation and fear. Like The Alex Harvey Band, I always wondered how these artists could have fans. But instead of eschewing his talents, he grew on me, especialy his work the past 10 years solo and with The Bad Seeds. Last year, I really thought he would finally breakthrough in the USA with Grinderman. But I guess American fans no longer have the taste for blues-based or blues-rock music. I think the above review is really dead on and I also like the new NC&TBS album, even though I've only heard the title track. I still hate The Alex Harvey Band.
