AWC Thats fantastic! Way to go! Probably this song is set for release with the upcoming downloads anyway but why take a chance!

I wish you would have explained a little better about Now And Then in the beginning. For Instance its my understanding the record has already been finished. I know people who claim to have heard it.

Also that it is the other Lennon demo worked on when they did Free As A Bird and Real Love. And that this will be the last brand new record ever to feature all four Beatles... There may be a new mashup or some unknown song from the sixties--but this will be the last new and modern recording from the Beatles ever as far as I know.... All for love makes me salivate but that really has no input from John Lennon

George Harrison may a been against it--but hindsight shows this is too too historically significant to ignore or suppress

your right about the wording, your words do explain it a bit better.
maybe i can look into rewording it.
but this is just a start, mr. jones, just needs to be aware that there are so many people who would want this song.
examples:
beatles 1
let it be naked
anthology book
yellow submarine dvd
help dvd
a hard days night dvd
the love cd
..........
all these things have sold so well, it just means that there are millions of people wanting beatle merchandise.
now and then, could blow those others out of the water.
imagine the world press involved promoting this new song.
the beatles still sell, and they sell very well, why?
because of the quality, not quantity.
mr. aspinall knew that, he protected the beatles legacy very well.
mr. jones can follow right along too, now and then would assure his position, long standing....

Every Beatle fan would buy it, so what are they waiting for???.. Could it be because it's somebody's "ACE UP THE SLEEVE" for the future?
Apple or the surviving Beatles and widows may be hanging on to it for security?
Has anyone studied the recent financial history of Apple? Will they need to pull a rabbit out of the hat sometime in the future to save the company? It would be nice to get some answers, and a glimmer of hope to hang on to.

Personally I believe Mccartney and was pro now and then and the Harrison family was less inclined to allow it. Perhaps at ths late date a compromise was reached between Yoko Paul Olivia and Ringo and we will get the song. And of course as a promotional tool for the Beatles remasters and downloads maybe it puts an extra ten twenty or thirty million in their pockets because it generates interest in the whole project having a new song the way anthology did..

THat would be my view... Frankly I think its about the biggest beatle news in over a decade. Rain on parade's provincial attitude not withstanding
