May 13th, 1969: The Beatles met up at the balcony at EMI Records' London headquarters EMI House to recreate the photo of their 1963 Please Please Me album. The photograph by Angus McBean was intended to be used as the album cover to their upcoming album Get Back, which after nearly a year of delays was finally released with a different cover as Let It Be.

McBean's shots of the Beatles in 1963 and 1969 were eventually used on the band's 1973's "red" and "blue" compilations The Beatles 1962-1966 and The Beatles 1967-1970.

this photo shot was so remarkable as most of the things the Beatle's chose to do.
Magical Mystery Tour was considered to be a screw up, but as Paul said"where else are you going to find the video for I am the walrus"?
The Beatles not only created great decisions, but the also listened to others and let others help, if it was artistic.
The Beatles picked great photographers to work with them.
Did the Beatles have cracks in their armour?
I have yet to find any.........

perfect?, no.
But as Grace Jones said"perfect for me".

my love for the Beatles, maybe blinds me, but it's not a handicap, it's a blessed love.

It's not a blind love; Why should we apologize for it? No! After all there are many fans who like them. On the other hand, when you started the petition I thought we would get about 1.000.000 signs not 1.000 easy, very easy. But maybe some are afraid of publishing their e mail.

could be.
can the petition make a difference?, i think so, if we get enough signatures, which thanks to Greg is happening.
our love for the Beatles is not an infatuation or a fad, it is a passion.

...It is fear of spam with the email address. There should be some sort of policy disclosure, if it isn't already stated, that the email address used will not be sold to outside parties. It probably says that, but maybe a testimonial that "my" email address was never compromised, might help dispel any fears.
To me, the Beatles are art. something that remains current and lives on and on. Some say hip-hop is an art form too. Explain that to your great grandchildren. Or am I being too harsh today?

To me, hip hop, or in the Seventies, Disco isn't art. Just a rhythm on which can shake your body. To write a GOOD song requires more...Talent perhaps. Who are the people who are talented today? Few. I tried to sign a young girl today, she doesn't like the Beatles(I was in a Cafe, and as always I told the employees about it), but it wasn't the reason that she didn't sign. She was afraid of giving her e mail.

so right my friend.
not all music is art.
to write, perform, and sing a song, is a complex thing, not everyone is capable of doing.
fine examples:
John Lennon
Paul Mccartney
Mick Jagger
David Gilmour
Tom Petty
Bruce springsteen
Chuck Berry
and..many more....

"Blue album cover shot on this date?" What the heck does THAT mean? I get out of prison, incarcerated in isolated confinement since 1977) and when I get out I find that John Lennon was shot? Now they shoot their blue album cover? Has the world gone nuts??? Next someone's going to tell me that Paul got a divorce and some lying no talent lying b*tch slut is trying to get all his money!
I'm going back to jail!

... I need some good blow for my nose.

Where the hell is Ringo when you need him these days?

Dissappear for 30 years, and everyone acts like they don't know you! What the heck is the world coming to?

How's George Harrison doing these days? Come out with any new releases?

Someone told me his career is dead. That's got to be b_llsh_t. Gearge has too much talent to fade away unless he volunteered to get out of the music biz.
Is he running around the world entrenched in humanitarian causes or something?

So agree with the not all music is art! Art takes talent which I am afraid a lot of young musicians today are very much lacking.
