Woo hoo more unreleased Beatles music. Keep it coming. I will buy anything they put out, if I don't already have it. Anyone else excited about this new BBC compilation?

Why hasn't anyone else commented on this. This is big news for any Beatles fan. Are there any REAL Beatles fans left in these forums, or has it become just a place for people to bicker back & forth. The same thing happened earlier this year when the vinyl box set & Help came out. Nobody was talking about it. Lets get back to talking about music, after all this is a Beatles forum. And we Beatles fans have a lot to talk about, thanks to them releasing or re-releasing stuff on a regular basis.

Of course this is big news, and I was very happy to read it. However, everyone has their own way to celebrate it, why on this Forum which is reigned by people who don't like us. Too bad, I thought America was the place that whatever the ethnicity or color, anyone could make freely a point over anything. I still believe it, though. It's just this place had become hostile long time ago. There are people like you Chris, who until now haven't been attacked. Maybe because you don't post much. Watch out.

I have been attacked before, I just choose not to respond. I post whenever I feel I can add to the conversation. Which isn't very often, because their seems to be more bickering & attacking, then their is meaningful conversations .

OK, I would really like to chat Beatles with you apart from my other friends, you are really a good guy as I have sensed and a REAL Beatles' fan. For that reason I warned you. For me, the Topix is over. Why bickering over nothing with invisible persons? There's no money in it. Anyway, I hope that you'll find good people to talk Beatles with. You have to be stiff upper lip a lot, remember this.

Thanks Greg, for your words of wisdom & your advice. It's too bad these negative people ran you off. Take care.

Thanks, Chris. That's right. Why inhale negative air when you have all the magnificent works of God to keep you calm and positive. In real life, you avoid or you stand and fight people who are trying to annoy or harm you. Here, you can't.

The follow-up to The Beatles' 1994 collection Live At The BBC has been announced.

The Beatles: On Air - Live At The BBC Volume 2 cover artworkOn Air - Live At The BBC Volume 2 will be released on 11 November 2013 in a two-CD set and 180-gram vinyl packages. Both include a 48-page booklet with an introduction by Paul McCartney and liner notes by BBC producer Kevin Howlett.

The album will contain 63 tracks, including 37 previously unreleased performances, and 23 excerpts of in-studio speech featuring the group and radio presenters Brian Matthew, Alan Freeman, Lee Peters and Rodney Burke.

The 1994 album has also been remastered at Abbey Road Studios by Guy Massey and Alex Wharton, and will be reissued on the same date.

Between 7 March 1962 and 20 May 1965, The Beatles gave 52 known musical performances on a variety of BBC radio shows, in addition to many more interviews and unscheduled news appearances, together or individually.

The BBC releases coincide with a new book by Kevin Howlett. The Beatles: The BBC Archives: 1962-1970 is published in the UK by BBC Books on 10 October 2013 (29 October in the US), and will contain extensive information on the group's appearances for the corporation, as well as interview transcripts, photographs and archive documents.
