McCartney hasn't done much good music SINCE he was in the Beatles,as for those Pussies being jailed for freedom of speech,Bollocks! they were jailed for taking part in the depraved desecration of a Church, they had also taken part in other vile acts of depravity, like masturbating with a frozen Chicken in a Supermarket when Children were present, and having an Orgy in a Museum,in other words they are scum.
Ok, I stand corrected. Freedom of speech is one thing. But desecratting a church or performing obscene acts in front of children is unacceptable. Thanks for. for telling me more details about this story that I was unaware of.

So you knew about the story in general but didn`t know such an important detail as that they performed the song they were jailed for in church? Why is that?

Because the story I read said they were jailed for protesting, it didn't give much details beyond that.

Guessed it was so, the question is western media tell this story over and over yet ignore such crucial details?

Sadly most our media is like that. If it doesn't fit their liberal agenda, then we will only get part of the story, or it will get ignored completely.

Does. either of you even know what you're talking about? You come on a Beatles forum to insult a living legend like Paul McCartney . If you knew the whole truth, you would know that those musicians. were imprisoned for excersizing their freedom of speech. And that's why you should care.
Paul McCartney; "living legend," matter of opinion. 1.McCartney is British citizen, not Russian citizen. 2. McCartney is agnostic/atheist, not member of Russian Orthodox Church. 3. "Free speech" was not the issue here. It was the occupation of the sanctuary of a church and using it for a garbage can and public restroom in the name of "free speech." That is the issue. 4. When Vladimir V. Putin speaks; people listen. When McCartney speaks people look at each other and ask; "is he still alive?"

Russia is a conservative society. If you flipped the world's axis and hung the stars and stripes over the Kremlin, Putin would be painted a neocon.

Denounce the Soviets for repressing religion.

Denounce the Russians for encouraging religion.

Who can take such nonsense seriously?

I already said I that what they did was unacceptable. And Paul McCartney most certainly is a living legend. He was one of the main song writers in the most popular & successful band ever. And, he is THE most successful song writer in the history of recorded music. I think those two facts alone, qualify him as a living legend.
