I can't stand ACDC but millions would disagree with me but it all comes down to personal taste and the old saying different strokes for different folks. John Fogerty is coming out with a new Album this year with other artist doing remakes of his old classics.I think Bob Seger might even be on it.
I like John Fogerty! Here's a nice little known tune for ya Bubba!=)

Unfortunately, the Republicans are incapable of that.

Pig-headed, unwilling to compromise or help others.

But that is their stock in trade.

I can't believe you're discussing politics on this thread. But since we're at it, perhaps if the government stopped bailing out banks and if the rich would pay their fair share of taxes, America wouldn't have such a huge deficit.
Man, am I with you on that one, Len! The rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer - the gap is widening. And the middle class are paying for all of it! But, don't get me started....:-)

If the rich (or top 2%) payed 100% of what they earned, it wouldn't be a spit in the bucket towards paying off our national debt. Stop falling for Obama's rhetoric. Anyone with half a brain knows the rich are paying their so-called fair share and more. Obama the Democrat Congress are a bunch of tax and spend junkies. I'm doubt you really care though since you're probably just another socialist liberal drone.

All the political talk in this forum simply confirms the reason why the U.S. is in such a mess. Few Americans care about facts, especially when they don't favor their political party. When I said Bill Clinton supported welfare reform, I backed it up with a video of his 1996 news conference wherein he made it clear that welfare reform was one of his priorities, as it was one of his campaign promises. Yet, most liberal drones will not want to hear it because Clinton is a Democrat, so they will completely ignore Clinton's willing involvement and instead try to blame reform on the GOP as though they are bad people, having no compassion. lol!

The Democrat Party is your cult. lol!

Losers!

And you believe the rich pay their fair share?

Wow.

All the republicans want to do is make sure the rich get the best and the rest of us can go to hell. I have even heard some of them say that they want to reduce welfare (one man on welfare gets 400 per month including food stamps). They want to take even that measly amount away from the guy struggling by on welfare, while they fight to keep the wealthy from having to pay taxes.

The democrats are bound and determined to fill our country with the citizens of foreign nations, many of them third world uncivilized people. California is not full of people who eat dogs and sacrifice animals to gods and we are supposed to "respect their cultures".

I hate both parties. I just hate the democrats less.

Yes, and I forgot. All the republicans want to do is to come up with some reason to bomb someone. And on that score, Obama is no better.

I tend to hate both parties too. You elect a person to high office, give him plenty of power and money, which in turn gives him the opportunity to get more powerful and make more money, and what do you think will happen?

I don't trust anyone with that much power and money to look out for my interests.

People, it's up to US! We need to take control of our lives and admit that we've had it too good for too long. The government is never going to return us back to our glory days of wasteful spending and rampant greed and that's a good thing!!

We can't stop the government from wasting our money but what we can do is re-evaluate our lifestyle and become more earth friendly. This means recycling, volunteering and taking public transportation when we can. The days of sitting all by ourselves, inching along bumper to bumper, just to go a few miles down the road cannot last much longer.

We need to learn to prioritize. We must reach out to our neighbors, families and friends, offer to help them and let them help us in return. We can't afford to hide in our fenced in backyards anymore.

It doesn't matter if our elected officials are republicans or democrats. Washington DC is a small town and they're always going to bail out the rich! WE THE PEOPLE need to quit depending on them and start helping each other more!!!

In la where I live one person in 30 is American born, The government has completely given Los Angeles to the citizens of Mexico, Africa, Armenia, etc. Oh, yes, the Muslims are all over too.

It is no longer America, it it the third world. And our votes count for nothing.

I know, and that isn't going to stop.

I live in California too. We're just going to have to accept that they're here to stay and so long as they aren't breaking laws, try to help them too.(Naturally, that's pretty difficult when many of them aren't even interested in learning English!)

But we don't have a choice. We either pull together or perish.

The world is one place. Hating each other and hording the world's resources isn't going to solve anything.

Unfortunately, I think things are going to need to get a lot worse before they get better. There's a chance that we will just keep killing each other as the world crumbles around us.

I hope not but it looks like it's headed in that direction.

Aw, gee.

Now you know just a fraction of how the Native Americans felt when the white folks came in and ravaged their land and destroyed their culture.

That's exactly what I thought when I read their crap. Nice to see that the child hating pig from the Wacko forum has found common ground with the child hating pig from the Elvis forum though. Touching!

Elvis doesn't need radio play to attract new fans.

The guy has been dead over 35 years.

So I really do not care who likes him or not.

I actually do hear Elvis being played on radio from time to time.

And a lite rock station is not exactly oldies.

They play a little of everything.

There is even an Elvis themed diner around my area.

I wouldn't worry about Elvis losing popularity.

They still play classic rock but it is mixed in with more new stuff.

But I've noticed most of the sixties are no longer on the play list.

It wasn't like that in the eighties.

Boston still sounds great and I hear them all the time.

But it doesn't exactly mean that they are returning to the charts.
